My abortion story began just following Roe v. Wade in 1973. I was divorced with three young daughters and received little to no child support from their father.

When I leared that I had become pregnant by someone whom I barely knew and who had an eye on my young girls, I did not hesitate to take advantage of legal abortion.

As soon as my body healed from the abortion, I had a tubal ligation.

I am 82 now and have never regretted either procedure. I pray that all women who choose to terminate an unwanted pregnancy will be able to do so legally.
